Congratulations to the Class of 2011!
Today is the day that you officially graduate from RV.
You might be happy that you finally finished 6 years there, or might have been like me, melancholic knowing that you will definitely miss the times you spent there.
6 years is a long time... Whether we like it or not, RV has become a part of our lives, close to our hearts and impossible to cut off ever.
It really seems like yesterday when I graduated from my friends in the class of 2010.
Now a year has passed, and I can't help but feel that RV is slowly changing from what I have know it to be.
Teachers, principals, and students will all renew and refresh.
This makes me scared that I will forget the times 4E did pull ups together, how I prepared for science competitions with my friends, how we filmed the CNY MV, and Seminar Room 2 where Science Soc had it's weekly sessions.
There were so many memories at the Alexandra campus, though, that are still with me.
I still remember the scent of the run down tennis court, where we had our first few trainings with mr keith teo.
Back then, it was just Guo Feng, Wei Kai and I.
.........
I can go on and on reminiscing about the sunshine in the past, but in short, things change, but memories will stay with us. This is probably why we get more sentimental and naggy as we get older. We want our juniors to treasure what they are having at this instant, so that they can look back and smile :)
I have to thank god for making me like this though, being able to look back and feel nostalgia. It's a sign that I have really been blessed.
The sour feeling welling up in me is making it a bit unbearable.
Shall stop here for now and get back to studying for my first CA!
